Patient relation Services involves communication with patients in an effective manner, resolving their issues, automates patient-centric workflows, reduces administrative costs, and increases patient satisfaction.
Patient Relation Service Officials are required to be updated on hospital administration duties and protocols, as well as the various statutory and regulatory requirements related to healthcare and safety. They assist, support patients and their families by explaining policies, procedures, available services, and patients rights without giving any opinions or assurances on clinical matters. They also coordinate with various departments within the hospital viz front desk, Billing, Housekeeping, HR, Admin to ensure patient satisfaction and wellbeing.

He understands the patient’s requirements and directs him to the right department. Where required, he escalates issues to concerned authorities and coordinates with all departments for speedy resolution of the same.
